The Anglican Church worldwide is a diverse communion that is united with all other Christian Churches and denominations worldwide that profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. The 39 Articles of the Christian Religion is the Confessional Statement of Anglicans Worldwide.
As an Anglican Church in the Evangelical tradition we are a Church that is:
We believe that the Scriptures, consisting of the 66-books of the Old Testament and New Testament, contain the knowledge of all things necessary for a person to be saved and is therefore the ultimate standard for life and doctrine.
We believe that the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed are sufficient statements of what Christians ought to believe. We also acknowledge continuity with the historical church through these historical statements of the Christian faith.
We believe that Jesus commanded the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper (also known as Communion). We celebrate both regularly.
We are governed by the ministry and oversight of Bishops. The polity of the local churches includes the order of Deacons and Presbyters.
